Add a Domain or Subdomain in cPanel (Jupiter Theme)

The Jupiter theme consolidates domain management into a single interface. Addon domains and subdomains that previously lived in separate sections are now added through the Domains tool. This guide covers that workflow on PosaHosting cPanel accounts.

1. Sign in to cPanel

Log in with your cPanel username and password.

PosaHosting shortcut

Open the control panel in one click from My Account

2. Open the Domains Tool

On the cPanel home screen, locate the Domains section and click the Domains icon to open the domain manager.

3. Register the New Domain

Click Create A New Domain, then enter the full domain or subdomain name you want to host.

Document root

Leave Share document root (or Document Root (File System Location)) unchecked unless you intentionally want this domain to serve the same files as your primary domain. When checked, both domains point at the same public_html folder.

Review your entries and click Submit. cPanel provisions the domain and creates its document root automatically.

Point the domain's DNS to your PosaHosting nameservers if it is registered elsewhere, then upload your site files to the new document root directory.
