Attach an Extra Domain in DirectAdmin

Hosting more than one website on a single DirectAdmin account is straightforward. Add each additional domain through Domain Setup, then point its DNS at your PosaHosting server.

1. Sign in to DirectAdmin

Navigate to your panel URL—commonly yourdomain.com:2222—and authenticate with your DirectAdmin credentials.

2. Open Domain Setup

Under Account Manager, select Domain Setup.

3. Add the Domain

1. Click Add Domain.

2. Enter the domain name in the Domain field.

3. For Bandwidth, tick Same As Main Account unless you need a custom monthly limit.

4. For Disk Usage, tick Same As Main Account to share your account's storage pool.

Enable Secure SSL and PHP Access so the site can run PHP and obtain a certificate. Click Create when finished.

4. Point DNS and Enable SSL

1. At your domain registrar, update the nameservers to the pair assigned to your PosaHosting account (these appear in your welcome email).

2. After DNS propagation completes, issue a free certificate for the new domain. See how to install an SSL certificate in DirectAdmin.

Upload your website files to the document root created for the new domain, then verify the site loads over HTTPS.
