Provision a cPanel Account in WHM

As a PosaHosting reseller, you create individual cPanel accounts for your customers through WHM. Each account is tied to a domain, a resource package, and its own login credentials.

1. Sign in to WHM

Log in to WHM with your reseller username and password.

PosaHosting shortcut

Open the control panel in one click from My Account

2. Open Create a New Account

  1. In the WHM sidebar, expand Account Functions.

  2. Click Create a New Account.

3. Fill in Account Details

On the creation form, provide the following:

  • Domain — The primary domain for this account (for example, clientdomain.com).
  • Username — A unique cPanel username (up to 16 characters, lowercase).
  • Password — A strong password for the cPanel login.
  • Email — A contact address; WHM sends the account summary here.
  • Package — The hosting package that defines disk, bandwidth, and feature limits. Need a new package first? See creating a hosting package.

Click Create. WHM provisions the account and emails the details to the address you entered.

Share the cPanel username and password with your client so they can manage their site, mail, and files.

4. Manage Existing Accounts (Optional)

Return to Account Functions and use List Accounts or Modify an Account to change packages, reset passwords, suspend accounts, or adjust other settings for customers you already host.
